Let your beautiful bump pick his/her very own name with the Kick to Pick baby naming app.
What is it?
Kick to pick is a unique name generator that allows the whole family to get involved in the naming of your child, even the baby itself. Not only will Kick to Pick offer thousands of names as inspiration, it also monitors the movements of your baby to identify any signs of enthusiasm it may show. Its fun, interactive and it couldnt be easier use.
How does it work?
To begin, simply choose from one of our gender-specific lists; each of which holds thousands of names to choose from. Alternatively, if you already have certain names in mind or youd like to limit the search, you can also create a favourites list simply by starring the names you prefer.
Now the exciting bit! With your list selected, lie down and position your device over your baby bump and tap the start button to activate the countdown. Next, simply sit back and watch as Kick to Pick scans through your chosen list of potential names until it detects that all important input from your baby. Once your babys choice is identified, you can either choose to accept the suggestion or put it down to hiccups and return to your search.
If youre using this app through a cellular device, we recommend turning your phones Airplane Mode on. This mode can be found in your settings. Switching to this setting disconnects any cellular activity to your phone and ensures that nothing can interfere with your babys choice!

You are confined to use the names on their list only. Unfortunately I downloaded this app having 2 names already picked out, and they were not on the apps lists. So the app was useless to me.
I want my money back. Not even a fun app.
All this is is a list of names. No meanings or origins. Yes you can star your favorite choices, but the Kick To Pick function is an amateur random name generator that has nothing to do with sensing a babys kicks. The names are so poorly managed that Amy, Ann, Anna, Annie and Audrey are listed under boys names. Really? The iPad app is the same size as the iPhone app, meaning the viewable screen size is 2.5 x 3.5 inches. Dont waste your money. There are free websites out there that are way better. I wish I had my .99 back.
I thought this might be fun, but it was just disappointing. You can only pick from their list of names and their list is far from comprehensive. Theres no sound. The app just cycles through the names, if you baby doesnt kick it just keeps cycling - it could go on forever!
The baby would practically need to kick through my skin for it to be detected. The baby was kicking like mad and the app didnt detect anything. Sounds like a fun idea, but didnt really work as promised.
